The concept for Catglobe was defined by the owner of Catinét, Christian Stjer, who had previously worked with TNS Gallup. Catglobe is based on a revolutionary business model that combines a total IT-systems with the possibility to form international partnerships among the research companies that buy the solution.
Catglobe A/S is a spin-off company of the Danish research company Catinét, and it now stands poised to revolutionise the international research business with a business concept that combines a total IT-solution with international partnerships. Already this year, a group of small and medium research companies just south of the Danish-German border will have access to Catglobe’s total IT-solution that can replace the 10-15 different IT-systems this type of company traditionally has. They will at the same time become members of the network of companies that use the Catglobe Enterprise System.
The shared IT-platform enables the companies to work across borders, positioning them to be either an alternative choice for customers or to partner up with the large international firms.
It is an old dream that comes true for Christian Stjer. He originally came up with the idea behind the Catglobe concept six years ago, when he founded Catinét and developed an analysis system for the internet. Since then, Catinét has invested 7 million U.S. dollars developing and implementing modules for the company’s IT-solution, something which credits directly to Catinét’s present profitability.
